What to expect
before you call

Is the initial consultation really confidential?+

Yes. Every conversation with an HLA attorney is covered by attorney-client privilege from the moment it begins - before any fee is paid and before any engagement letter is signed. We do not share your information with any PBM, payor, regulator, or third party.

Is there a charge for the initial call?+

No. The initial case review call with an HLA attorney is complimentary. We use it to understand your situation, identify the deadlines you're working against, and determine whether we're the right firm for your matter.

How quickly will I hear back after submitting the form?+

How are fees structured?+

Fees vary by matter type and complexity. For PBM audits and most administrative matters, we frequently work on a flat or capped fee basis. Federal investigations and litigation are typically hourly or hybrid engagements. We discuss fee structure openly on the initial call - there are no surprises in the engagement letter.

Will I speak with an attorney - or an intake coordinator?+

An attorney. HLA does not use outsourced intake services. Every caller and every form submission is reviewed and handled by a licensed attorney on our team.
