Prior to joining Health Law Alliance, Alison practiced at a large international law firm based in New York representing corporations and individuals in a broad array of high stakes matters including achieving a favorable civil settlement with the New York Attorney General for one of the largest operators of skilled nursing facilities in New York in a healthcare fraud prosecution.  She has experience representing individuals and entities in complex commercial and securities litigation in state and federal courts, as well as in connection with criminal and regulatory investigations conducted by the United States Department of Justice, the Office of the New York State Attorney General, and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Alison received her Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. While in law school, she was a legal writing teaching assistant and a Notes Editor and Staff Editor of the Cardozo Law Review. She was also selected for the Alexander Fellows Program, serving as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Pamela K. Chen in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. She was previously a middle school teacher and holds an M.S. in Early Childhood and Special Education. Alison graduated, magna cum laude, with a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs from The George Washington University. Her personal interest include pro bono and volunteer work, running in Central Park, and exploring New York City with her rescue dog Bernard.
